XPENG Motors has entered into a dealership partnership with Sime Darby Motors, paving the way for the introduction of XPENG's latest electric vehicle models to the Hong Kong market. This collaboration will enable XPENG to offer its smart electric vehicles to Hong Kong consumers through dedicated showrooms, providing after-sales support and a thorough buying experience. The electric vehicle manufacturer plans to launch its focus models, including the new pure electric SUV G6 and the flagship seven-seater MPV X9, in Hong Kong by mid-May, with deliveries expected to commence in the third quarter. Brian Gu, XPENG's Vice Chairman and President, expressed enthusiasm about combining Sime Darby Motors' extensive sales experience in Hong Kong with XPENG's premium offerings. XPENG has achieved significant growth, with over 400,000 vehicles delivered by the end of the previous year, including more than 140,000 new vehicles in 2023.
