Charging alternatives

Dummy Titel
Hands-free charging, inductive and wireless charging enable charging without a physical cable connection. Instead, energy is transmitted wirelessly via electromagnetic fields. The expansion of this technology is progressing. However, it is not yet as widespread as conventional wired charging variants. Some manufacturers already offer inductive charging as an option for electric vehicles. So it’s worth obtaining further information – because wireless charging offers not both convenience and also potential for automated charging by eliminating physical plugs and cables.
A mobile wallbox is a compact, portable and lightweight charging station for electric vehicles that can be conveniently carried in the luggage compartment. It can usually be connected to different power sources and automatically detects the highest possible charging power. Many models are also equipped with built-in residual current protection to ensure safe and reliable charging. These devices offer versatile application possibilities and high flexibility thanks to their variety of adapters.
This is only possible in exceptional cases: conventional sockets are not designed for high continuous loads. With the right charging plug, single-phase charging of electric cars is possible at a 230-volt earthed socket. For safety reasons, this should be the exception and the charging time should be limited. To be on the safe side, you should have an electrician check everything from the cable to the charging plug.
Photovoltaic systems have been commonplace for several years and offer numerous advantages for home-owners and electric car drivers. This includes not only clean and emission-free energy production, but also free electricity generation and long-term reductions in electricity costs. The solar power plant remains unaffected by the rising electricity prices caused by cost increases on the part of the public charging network operators, falling quantities of raw materials and the introduction of a CO2 price.
Smart energy management helps to always identify the current cheapest charging current for electric cars and optimise cost-effective charging. This means that the charging process of the electric vehicle can be monitored and controlled via a smartphone app. The charging station is an integral part of the home’s entire energy system. A software connection to renewable energy sources such as solar power plants or heat pumps allows the current energy demand to be controlled in a targeted and efficient manner.
